Warehouse Facility and Supply Lead

The Warehouse Facility and Supply Lead will oversee inventory management; receiving, stocking, and distribution of all merchandise and supplies to support their local market. This role will work closely with Stumptown HQ, Supply Chain Manager, Purchasing Manager, and third-party inventory locations on inbound and outbound logistics, as well as lead in planning inventory levels through measuring usage and velocity. This position will coordinate, optimize, and implement processes for maintaining all spaces in a well-organized manner, working with outside vendors on facilities related projects and building maintenance.
Create necessary Transfer Orders, Inventory Transfers, and Item Receipts to account for internal movement of inventories.
Communicate with several departments across Stumptown to notify of inbound and outbound movements.
Establish and manage vendor relationships.
Responsible for all ins and outs of non-coffee supplies and merchandise pertaining to their market.
Assist operations team with facility related projects impacted by the warehouse department.
Support Roasting, Cold Brew, and Production departments with large scale freight needs.
Collaborate with Cold Brew department on inventory/warehousing strategies.
Maintain inventory and logistics for merchandise/supplies at third-party and auxiliary warehousing facilities. Check incoming merchandise against packing slips or BOL's.
Maintain inventory levels and pars by using ERP to assess target inventory numbers, days on hand and preferred stock, and safety stock levels.
Coordinate and balance the inventory and supply needs of various departments.
Lead receiving and stocking merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner.
Assist with physically receiving green coffee inventory.
Prepare BOL’s for shipment of freight.
Assist with small construction, building maintenance, and assembly projects.
Work closely with the Finance and Ordering departments on inventory reporting, transactional tracking, and month-end physical inventory reporting.
Performs many of the above duties under the guidance and direction of the Supply Chain Manager
2+ years of shipping and receiving experience to include parcel and freight.
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Operators certificate a plus.
Some light construction experience (hanging pictures, assembly of desks and chairs, changing lightbulbs, touch up paint etc.)
Working knowledge of material handling methods.
Self-starter in a fast paced, non-traditional work environment.
Inventory Management, ERP Experience, Demand Planning, and Cost analysis
Ability to sit continuously at a computer
Ability to lift 50-150 pounds regularly. Weight greater than 50 pounds will be mitigated with a lifting partner or device.
Standing – ability to stand for long periods
Work takes place in warehouse/ production facilities.
Noise level may be high.
Temperatures vary greatly with weather.
