Hasami is the name of both Maruhiro's porcelain brand and the town where the ceramics are produced; each piece is created by hand, with care, following traditional ceramics technique developed in the Saga Prefecture. Hasami ceramics production is characterized by a specialized division of labour where shaping, molding, glazing, and firing are handled independently.

In celebration of our first international location inside the Ace Hotel Kyoto, we partnered with Japanese ceramacists Hasami, a porcelain brand under the Maruhiro umbrella, to create a very special limited edition mug. Our second edition features a new colorway.
