"Colombia El Jordan is a desert island coffee -- I could drink it every day for the rest of my life and be a very happy person."
Coffee and Sustainability
The small communities of Planadas and Gaitania are nestled in the mountains of southern Tolima, not far from Colombia’s highest volcano. Nearly every view in this remote region has one thing in common: coffee. Small farms cover impressively steep slopes. Verdant rows of coffee trees peek out from under lush, dense jungle in the distance. This beautiful place is home to the group of dedicated coffee farmers responsible for a perennial Stumptown favorite: Colombia El Jordan.
