Exclusive Coffees develops direct relationships between coffee producers in Costa Rica and roasters and importers worldwide, consolidating and exporting coffee from various smallholders, estates and micromills. Beyond providing market access, Exclusive also provides quality control and technical assistance to the producers they work with. Stumptown has been working with Exclusive since 2007.

As the co-founder of Exclusive, Francisco Mena has been an incredible partner and dear friend for many years. With over two decades of experience in coffee, in 2015 he decided to evolve his relationship with the supply chain, and become a producer himself.

Finca Sumava de Lourdes is located within Costa Rica’s renowned growing region, the West Valley, in an area called Naranjo de Lourdes. The 68-hectare farm sits between 1650 and 1750 meters above sea level and is organized into plots by variety.
